Pay-if-Paid Seminar Presented to Virginia Contractors

On January 25, 2023, the MCAMW & Washington DC Chapter, NECA presented a seminar, featuring Fred Mendicino of Faughnan Mendicino PLLC located in Dulles, Virginia.
The topic of the seminar was entitled The Extinction of the Pay-if-Paid Clause in Virginia and focused on Contractors who provide services in Virginia.
Mr. Mendicino explained in detail that the Pay-if-Paid is a subcontract provision that makes payment to the subcontractor contingent upon receipt of payment by the general contractor/higher tier contractor.
