University Students
The MCAMW Student Chapter is an ideal opportunity to explore the industry – with the support of professional contractors, industry mentors, faculty advisors, and student peers. The Chapter hosts a variety of events for students to connect with local mechanical contractors.
The Chapter connects students to internship, career fairs and job opportunities with our member companies, grants members access to exclusive education and training resources, hosts field trips, and creates a platform for the Chapter to compete in a National Student Competition where the winning competition team wins $10,000!
Mentoring by industry professionals can be invaluable for a rising senior. Our members welcome students to share the benefits of a mechanical trades career: the high potential for job placement, the option to avoid increasing tuition costs and debt, and the strong need for skilled trades workers.
