MCAMW Partnered With iThrive Worldwide

Earlier this week, MCAMW members partnered with iThrive Worldwide to assemble and deliver over 200 care bags to local foster care agencies to help at-risk youth through the winter months.

The idea behind the Care Bags derived from alarming statistics about youth exiting the foster care system. In 2020, an estimated 22,000 youth aged out of foster care without being placed in a permanent home. It is predicted that thirty percent of these youth who age out will become homeless within 2–5 years of leaving foster care.
