MCAA 2023 Convention in Phoenix

MCAMW members, students, contractors and union members recently attended the MCAA 2023 Convention in Phoenix, Arizona. The conference featured workshops and speakers focused on leadership and planning for economic cycles. Speakers included former White House Press Secretary, Dana Perino, former professional tennis player, John McEnroe and television host and narrator, Mike Rowe. We were proud to include members of the student chapter from the University of Maryland who competed in the MCAA student chapter competition where they placed in the top ten and were awarded $1,000. Also, UMD student chapter president, Amaya Caggino, received the first American Technical Publishers (ATP) Inspiring Future Leaders Scholarship. A special congratulations to Anne Finerfrock, vice president at W.E. Bowers as she was elected to the MCAA national Board.
