iThrive Worldwide – 6th Annual Care Bag Drive

To help support the community of vulnerable foster and homeless youths and young adults, the MCAMW and our contractors participated in iThrive Worldwide’s 6th Annual Care Bag Drive, a service initiative that donates personal care items to foster and homeless youth in the Washington, DC area. Through the kindness and support of our contractor members, the association was able to supply 85 filled care bags, sponsor a holiday breakfast at the Care Bag Delivery event in Washington, DC, and donate $1,500 to the organization to support local youth in need.

Aligned with iThrive’s mission to pave the way for foster care youth and provide the appropriate resources for a higher quality of life, the monetary donations help to support supplies needed for additional care bags as well as other materials needed to assist the youth throughout the year.

Thank you to all who participated in this initiative. The overwhelming support from our membership is undoubtedly spreading a positive impact to a community in need.
