Membership Meeting & Happy Hour Recap

The MCAMW held a Happy Hour for first time attendees prior to the November 7^th membership meeting. The gathering provided new attendees the opportunity to network with long-standing members, including MCAMW board members. 

As the happy hour wound down, attendees moved to the ballroom to hear guest speaker cybersecurity and network infrastructure expert Nick Espinosa​ discuss cyber defense strategies with the Five Laws of Cybersecurity:

• Law # 1:  If there is a vulnerability, it will be exploited – no exceptions
• Law # 2:  Everything is vulnerable in some way
• Law # 3:  Humans trust even when they shouldn’t.
• Law # 4:  With innovation comes opportunity for exploitation
• Law # 5:  When in doubt, see law number 1:

Following the presentation, membership approved the 2023 budget and new MCAMW Board of Directors and Industry Fund Trustee’s were nominated and elected.

The next membership meeting is scheduled for January 9, 2023 at Pooks Hill Marriott from 5-8pm. We will be installing our  2023 MCAMW Board members and Industry Fund Trustees.
