Joint Conference Committee.

Supporting a strong, collaborative bargaining process for the union mechanical construction industry.
002 / About

A strong bargaining process.

The Joint Conference Committee plays a critical role in supporting the collective bargaining process between the Mechanical Contractors Association of Metropolitan Washington (MCAMW) and our labor partners, including Plumbers Local 5 and Steamfitters Local 602.

The committee works to ensure that negotiations are approached strategically, collaboratively, and with a focus on maintaining a strong, competitive union mechanical construction industry. By gathering industry insight, evaluating market conditions, and representing the interests of MCAMW member contractors, the committee helps prepare for successful contract negotiations that benefit contractors, employees, and the industry.
