WiMI is more than a professional network, it is a welcoming community focused on connection, support, and empowering women throughout the mechanical industry.
A short introduction to Women in the Mechanical Industry, what we do, who we serve, and why this community matters.
The Women in the Mechanical Industry (WiMI) initiative is more than a professional network, it is a welcoming community focused on connection, support, and empowering women throughout the mechanical industry. WiMI creates opportunities for women at every stage of their careers.
Throughout the year, WiMI hosts a variety of events designed to inspire, educate, and bring people together. Past events have included hands-on workshops like building jewelry stands out of copper pipe, Trivia Night, social networking, leadership programs, and professional development events.
One of WiMI’s signature events is the annual Leadership Summit, a unique experience designed to bring women together for leadership development, inspiration, and meaningful connection.
The Summit features engaging speakers, interactive discussions, hands-on activities, and opportunities to step outside of everyday routines to focus on personal and professional growth. More than just a conference, the Leadership Summit creates an environment where attendees can build lasting relationships, gain fresh perspectives, grow their confidence, and leave feeling energized.
Whether you are new to the industry or a seasoned professional, WiMI is a place to build relationships, gain new experiences, and become part of a supportive community that extends far beyond the workplace.
