Financial oversight.
The Budget & Audit Committee provides financial oversight for MCAMW, ensuring the Association’s resources are managed responsibly, transparently, and in support of its mission.
The Committee develops the annual operating budget, reviews the Association’s financial health, and works with an independent auditor to maintain strong financial practices.

Committee responsibilities.
The Budget & Audit Committee is responsible for:

Preparing the Association’s annual operating budget

Reviewing projected sources of revenue and estimated expenditures

Presenting the proposed budget to the Board of Directors for review each November

Presenting the annual budget to the membership for adoption at the Annual Meeting

Reviewing the Association’s financial records and books as needed
06
Meeting annually with an independent auditor to review the results of the Association’s annual audit and ensure sound financial management
